Lt. Donald Frank Ware Memorial Scholarship Endowment
The Featherstones, who both served on the Operation Education advisory board, established this scholarship in 2006.
This scholarship was established by Barbara ’10 and Wray ’62 Featherstone, Jr. in honor of Barbara's brother Lt. Donald Frank Ware, and his affiliation with the University of Idaho and the U.S. Air Force. Scholarship recipients must be honorably separated veterans with service connected-injury caused or aggravated by military service after Sept. 11, 2001, or spouses of said veterans. Priority goes to veterans who are Idaho residents with a disability resulting from action in the combat zone.
