General James F. and Bonnie Amos Endowment
General James F. ’70 and Bonnie Amos returned to U of I in 2012 when Gen. Amos delivered the spring commencement address. Bonnie Amos was named honorary co-chair of Operation Education in 2010.
This endowment was created to recognize the leadership of U.S. Marine Corps Commandant General James F. and Bonnie Amos and to honor the legacy of military service of the Caccia-Linehan families. Priority goes to U.S. Marine Corps, secondly U.S. Navy veterans and/or their spouses who are Idaho residents with a disability resulting from action in the combat.
