Brandi provides direction, management and leadership to Human Resources and directly supervises or oversees Employment Services, Benefit Services and the front office staff. She acts as a liaison between HR and external constituencies to facilitate communication and to ensure the coordination of HR programs and services. Brandi is also responsible for the planning, implementing and administering of the university’s comprehensive medical, dental, life, disability, leave and other benefit programs.

Amy provides communications support for the Human Resources department, including website management, benefits communication, newsletters and memos. She also assists employees who are applying for flexible work arrangements.

Riley coordinates front office customer service functions and performs administrative tasks that support the operations of the Human Resources department. He manages supervisor assignments, campus directory modification access and I-9 verification and processing. Riley also assembles employee personnel files, updates Banner with employee information, and updates and ensures compliance with tax treaties and employment authorization for international employees.

Emily serves as a front-end contact for the Human Resources department, providing customer service by phone, email and in person, acts as a liaison to the Benefits and Payroll teams and provides overall administrative support to the department. The Business Partners serve as the primary contact for their assigned colleges and divisions. They provide support for:
- Staff Position Classification, including reclassifications, desk audits and FLSA classifications.
- Staff Compensation
- Recruitment and Selection, including sourcing candidates, successful search committees, troubleshooting problems, and policy interpretation.
- Performance Management, including onboarding and separation, setting expectations, conducting performance evaluations, helping an employee succeed through corrective action, and managing risk.
- Compliance with employment-related laws including the Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Labor Standards Act, Child Labor and reasonable accommodation requests.
- Organizational restructuring, orientations, supervisor/management training and complaint investigations.

Mandy coordinates the administration of the university’s applicant tracking system for prospective and current employees. Mandy serves as a primary HR resource for prospective employees providing assistance as needed. Mandy serves as the HR resource for dual career accommodations and other recruitment resource needs. She assists with the development and implementation of policies, procedures, provides training and ensures compliance.

Monica processes faculty, exempt, classified and student/temporary Electronic Personnel Action Forms (EPAFS) and provides customer service on the EPAF process. She trains departmental users in EPAF processes. She ensures compliance with tax treaties and employment authorization for international employees, and also monitors and transmits data with the Employee Information System (EIS).
Vacant, HR Program Coordinator
The HR Program Coordinator manages the background check process supporting the university’s safety and interests through interpreting and implementing background check policies, procedures and applicable state/federal laws. They also serve as the liaison between the Department of Labor in matters such as requests for unemployment, request for information and audits.

Benefits Team
The Benefits Team advises and provides assistance on the employee health benefits program. Our Benefit Specialists administer family medical leave (FML), short-term and long-term disability and COBRA, as well as retirement counseling and planning for employees. They also lead Benefits Orientation for new hires.
