Food Safety and Preservation
UI Extension, Bear Lake County serves as the trusted source for up-to-date, research-based information and personalized advice on the safest methods of home food preservation and storage. We have the latest in food preservation publications, offer classes on various topics and can test your dial pressure canner gauge. Cost for testing is $2 per gauge.

StrongWomen
The StrongWomen program is a national evidence-based community exercise and nutrition program targeted to midlife and older women.
There are two focuses of the program. The first is a strength training curriculum to help women maintain muscle mass, strength and function as they age. The second is heart disease prevention curriculum that focuses on aerobic activity and nutrition.
Come join our group! We get together every Monday and Thursday morning at 9 a.m. at the Allred Education and Event Center/UI Extension, Bear Lake County.

Personal and Family Finances
Personal and family finance is an important process of controlling your money and making informed decisions to keep your finances in check and yourself out of debt. The goal of personal finance programming is to help families and individuals from all walks of life make effective financial decisions that will improve the quality of their lives and bring them financial freedom.
