Healthcare Professionals
ECHO Idaho offers free and convenient continuing education credits for attending ECHO sessions.
ECHO Idaho uses eeds software to manage our continuing education (CE). To claim CE, please have your Sign-on Code ready (provided in the session you attended as well as day-of ECHO communications) and navigate to the eeds sign-in page.

Physicians, Pharmacists, and Nurses

In support of improving patient care, University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the health care team.
Interprofessional Continuing Education
Activities planned by and for the health care team are accredited for Interprofessional Continuing Education (IPCE) credits for learning and change. All IPCE activities will be designated on each program page.
Physician Assistants
The University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with AAPA CME Criteria.
Psychologists

Continuing Education (CE) credits for psychologists are provided through the co-sponsorship of the American Psychological Association (APA) Office of Continuing Education in Psychology (CEP). The APA CEP Office maintains responsibility for the content of the programs.
Counselors, Marriage and Family Therapists
For the purpose of re-licensure, the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses recognizes the University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program as an approved provider of continuing education. To be considered continuing education, the session(s) are required to be germane to your practice. Final acceptance of the credit for recertification resides with your state board.
Social Workers
For the purpose of re-licensure, the Idaho Division of Occupational and Professional Licenses recognizes the University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program as a provider of continuing education. All continuing education hours must be germane to the profession of social work at the individual’s particular level of social work licensure and the presenter’s level of education must be at the licensee’s level or above (Idaho State Board of Social Work Examiners 24.14.01 Rule 351-03b). Final acceptance of the credit for recertification resides with your state board.
Participants from states outside of Idaho are welcome and encouraged to attend! Please check with your state certification and licensure boards for specific considerations regarding claiming continuing education for participation in ECHO Idaho programs.
Alcohol and Drug Counselors (CADC/ACADC/CPS)
The Idaho Board of Alcohol and Drug Counselor Certification (IBADCC) recognizes the University of Idaho, WWAMI Medical Education Program as an approved provider of continuing education.
