Green Lab Certification

Laboratories and research centers serve as the heart of innovation on our campuses. The Green Lab certificate gives researchers a chance to highlight their innovative practices that help promote sustainability in complex lab environments.

To accommodate the diversity of lab types and uses, the Green Lab program is an open-format application that allows each lab to highlight sustainable practices in broad categories. Applications are then reviewed by the Office of Sustainability and certifications are awarded to labs making dedicated efforts to integrate sustainable practices into daily operations.
