Welcome to Fraternity and Sorority Life

The fraternity and sorority community at the University of Idaho is the largest and most vibrant community of students on-campus. Our community has been a cornerstone of U of I's legacy since the university was founded in 1889. With 34 recognized fraternities and sororities, our members make up approximately 23 percent of the student population here in Moscow.

Our community understands the unique value that can come from a sisterhood of women or a brotherhood of men navigating the challenges of college and beyond. It's something that cannot be matched. Though there are hundreds of opportunities to engage and get involved on a college campus, few produce a lifelong return on time and energy quite like joining a fraternity or sorority.
