Tuition Rates
The primary goal of the Children's Center is to provide quality care for the children of University of Idaho students, staff and faculty. Children from the Palouse region who do not have a student or employee affiliation with U of I are also eligible, but student families on the waiting list are considered first.
There is almost always a waiting list for vacancies at the Children's Center.

Explanation of Fees
- Half day hours are 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and only offered in the Child Development Lab Preschool Classroom for children 3-5 years old. This option is only available as a five day classroom.
- Meals included in tuition are Breakfast - 8:30 a.m., Lunch - 11:30 a.m., and Snack - 2:30 p.m.
- Student rates are available to full-time U of I students. To be considered a full time student, you must be enrolled in 12 Undergraduate credits, 9 Graduate credits, or 10 credits for Law students.
- A current student ID is required along with an official copy of your student schedule printed off from VandalWeb to receive the student rate on pricing.
- Tuition is billed monthly.
