Getting Started

Are you unsure of how to get involved in research? The OUR is here to help. Please take advantage of our resources, contact us at undergrad-research@uidaho.edu or come visit us on campus. The following suggestions may also help you find the right research opportunity for you.

  • Review faculty profiles on departmental websites and make appointments to talk with those whose research interests you.
  • Talk with your faculty instructors about their research and other research on campus.
  • Make an appointment to talk with the Director of the OUR about your areas of interest. Email him at undergrad-research@uidaho.edu.
  • Attend the annual U of I Undergraduate Research Symposium in April to find out what other students are doing.
