Why Idaho?
I chose the U of I College of Law because it has a great reputation among law schools, and I knew I'd get a high-quality education here. Plus, it's in a location that's perfect for me - close to downtown Boise and offering excellent job opportunities in the area. The specialized programs Idaho offers align perfectly with my interests and career goals. The faculty members are top-notch, and the resources available for research are impressive. Moreover, they have a supportive alumni network that can open doors for me in the future. On top of all that, the campus culture is fantastic, making it a comfortable and welcoming place to study.
What advice would you offer to incoming 1Ls?
My advice is to not let law school interfere with…your basic quality of life. Law school is busy, and there are always lots of things to do, but that fact shouldn’t prevent you from doing things for yourself, spending time with the people you love, or doing things you enjoy. Law school is hard work, and a lot of fun, but you should know when to take a break.
