Jennifer Hedlund is an Assistant General Counsel for Northwest Farm Credit Services in Spokane, Washington.  Jennifer started her career as an Associate with the law firm Witherspoon Kelley where she specialized in real estate and banking law, and then joined Umpqua Bank (formerly Sterling Bank) as Senior Counsel in 2011.  In early 2018, she transitioned from Umpqua Bank to Northwest Farm Credit Services in order to combine her legal background in banking law with her love for agriculture.

Jennifer served on the Spokane Downtown Partnership Board for 6 years as its Attorney Representative and was the Vice Chair in 2015. She joined the Law Advisory Council in 2017. Jennifer is a native of Eastern Washington and grew up in the rolling hills of the Palouse close to the Washington and Idaho border.  While she currently calls Spokane home, she spends much of her free time riding horses and taking photographs on the Palouse.  She volunteers with youth programs and organizations, including her work with the Palouse Empire Fair Livestock Sale.
