As Senior Director of Labor & Employment in the Micron Technology Legal Department and Micron Italy Vice President, Greg is responsible for Micron’s global Labor and Employment matters and related litigation and counseling, as well as responsibility and oversight over Employee Benefits, Privacy, Security, Immigration and Ethics and Compliance functions. Greg has been involved in commercial, employment and/or labor litigation matters in U.S. federal and state courts, as well as in Italy, France, Puerto Rico, South Korea, Australia, Hungary, Finland, Taiwan, Japan, U.K., China, Malaysia, India, Hong Kong, Philippines, Sweden, Germany, Singapore, Israel and Switzerland.
Greg received his B.A. in English, with honors, in 1994 from the University of Idaho. In 1997, he received a J.D., from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco. During his third year of law school, Greg was an extern for Chief Magistrate Judge F. Steele Langford in the United States District Court, Northern District of California. From 1997 to 1998, Greg was a law clerk for Chief Justice Charles F. McDevitt on the Idaho Supreme Court and then for Judge Alan M. Schwartzman on the Idaho Court of Appeals. From 1998 to 2008, Greg was with the law firm Stoel Rives LLP in Boise, Idaho. At the firm, his practice focused on litigation, both commercial and employment, as well as related counseling and advice.
Greg is a member of the Idaho State Bar and has served on or been a member of American Inns of Court, the Rotary Club of Downtown Boise, Idaho Partners for Justice, the Opera Idaho Board of Trustees, the Board of Trustees for the Oregon-Idaho Conference of the United Methodist Church and the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce Leadership Boise Class of 2004-2006. Greg currently serves on the Local Rules Committee for the United States District Court for the District of Idaho and is a member of the Law Advisory Council for the University of Idaho College of Law.
