Memorial Gym.

Show your team’s Vandal Pride! This year’s most vandalized fan will take place at a Volleyball game. Bring your whole team and cheer Vandal Volleyball on to victory.

Sunday, Oct. 8

5 p.m. — Kick-off and announcement of Royalty Candidates
Tower Lawn

This year's kick-off event is going to be a field day located on the Tower Lawn. Games and activities will include the 2022 new tradition of water pong, cornhole, tug-o-war and many more.

5 p.m. — Photo Challenge
Campus-Wide

The Photo Challenge is put together on Goose Chase by the committee and can be worked on throughout the week. Photos can include historical buildings around the University and photos/videos of the teams' completing challenges.

Monday, Oct. 9

2-5 p.m. — “Vandalize” Moscow
Business Window Painting — Main Street Moscow.

Are you creative? Do you love this year’s theme? Now is the time to collaborate as a team and come up with the best window decorating to get top points. Have fun with other teams as we get Moscow downtown businesses in the spirit of Homecoming 2023.

2-5 p.m. — Hygiene Drive Information Distribution
Pick up door hangers during window painting at Friendship Square.

Vandals helping Vandals and the Moscow community each year for the Homecoming Hygiene Drive. Meet your team at Friendship Square to disperse explanations of the hygiene drive and bags to drop off in the Moscow community. Don’t worry, your team will pick up the full bags later in the week.

Tuesday, Oct. 10

9 a.m. — “Vandalize” Campus
Campus Decoration Judging — various campus locations.
Faculty and staff have spirit too! The Homecoming spirit takes over campus each year. Did you ask your professor how they celebrate Homecoming? Check out your Dean of Students Office, the Admissions Office, or the Student Involvement’s Office — they have all won top spot for decorating their office space in the past.

Moscow is home to many employees who graduated from University of Idaho and continue to work there. Each year we celebrate those employees and say thank you for the work they do!

4 p.m. — Vandal Hockey vs. Gonzaga
Palouse Ice Rink

Watch Vandal Hockey at the new Palouse Ice Rink in Moscow during Homecoming week as they play against Gonzaga!

6 p.m. — Brett Young Concert With Special Guests Jake Scott and Griffen Palmer
ICCU Arena

Squeeze in some country music between beers and the bonfire. Get info and tickets.

8 p.m. — Serpentine

Led by the Sound of Idaho Marching Band, snaking along Old Greek and New Greek Row, the Vandal Store, along Sixth Street, through the residence halls and up to the Kibbie Dome parking lot. Gather outside living groups on campus and join in!

8:30 p.m. — Vandal Rally

Meet in the Kibbie Dome Lot to hear hype speeches from our awesome coaches and President Scott Green. Get hype for the homecoming game with the rest of the U of I community.

Saturday, Oct. 14

8:45-10 a.m. — Partial Solar Eclipse Watch Party
Theophilus Tower Lawn

The College of Science and Department of Physics invite the community to a watch party for the partial solar eclipse. Maximum eclipse at approximately 9:23 a.m. Physics faculty and students will be on hand to answer questions. Eclipse viewers will be available. Participants should bring chairs or blankets and water. Contact the College of Science (science@uidaho.edu) with questions. Cloudy weather will cancel the event.

9 a.m. - noon — Moscow Firefighters Annual Pancake Feed and Safety Fair
Moscow Fire Station — 603 South Main Street

Support your all-volunteer Fire and EMS department. Many of your volunteer first responders are current students at the University of Idaho!

10 a.m. — Baby Goat Yoga
SRC Lawn

Enjoy some relaxing and fun yoga with baby goats on the SRC lawn before the parade and the big game. This free event will be first-come, first-serve, so come early to reserve your spot on the lawn. Wear comfortable clothing to be outside for 1 hour. There’s a chance that a goat will nibble at your clothing/hair, so prepare accordingly.

Noon — Future Vandals Parade (Check-in for Future Vandals Friendship Square ~ 11)
Main Street/Downtown Moscow

Cheer on the future Vandals as they kick off the parade in style. All children 14 and younger are invited to strut, drive or cheer throughout the parade. We will begin at Friendship Square and go the length of the parade. Register here.

Vandal Village is back! The ICCU Arena Pavilion offers the perfect gathering place for Vandals and visiting fans. There will be food truck options, beverages for purchase, kick activities and the famous Joe on the Go, the mobile VandalStore to gear up before kick-off.
