Chelsea Pennick (McIver)
Chelsea is a research analyst with the Policy Analysis Group and a Ph.D. candidate and lecturer in the Department of Natural Resources and Society. Her research interests lie at the nexus of public lands, forest communities and rural economies.
Chelsea has led studies on policy options for reforming payments to counties for federal public lands, the impact of collaboration on pace and scale of management on Idaho’s national forests and has contributed to studies on state funding for wildfire suppression. Chelsea also teaches Forest Policy and Administration.
