Natural Resources Online
Educating leaders in natural resources for over 100 years.
The College of Natural Resources offers two types of online graduate degrees: professional and traditional. Our professional online graduate degrees include the Master of Natural Resources and the Master of Science in Environmental Science. These degrees require the completion of 30-35 credits and may also require a non-thesis project.
Common factors for choosing online graduate education include:
- Already having full-time employment
- Family and community commitments
- Seasonal commitments
What's the Cost?
Students at the University of Idaho taking online courses are charged resident tuition provided they only register for online courses (this includes 500, 599, and 600 research credits), regardless of their place of residence. Please contact Student Accounts if you have questions.
Please note, if you are not an Idaho resident, registering for an on-campus course will lead to a non-resident tuition charge for that course and other courses that semester. A web fee ($35) per credit will be charged for all online courses. Additional course fees may apply. Distance education courses offered through Engineering Outreach include an additional fee.
