Volunteer
Since the 1960s the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival has brought jazz masters together with elementary, middle school, high school and college students at the University of Idaho to share and celebrate jazz, a true American art form.
We are inviting dedicated individuals with a passion for music and arts and the willingness to learn to be a part of an outstanding team of volunteers for the 57th Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. It takes the support of hundreds of volunteers to make the festival happen and this is a great opportunity to develop your skills in the operations and management of a festival, and, above all, enjoy the experience of great live jazz! Volunteers also earn free concert tickets (four hours volunteering = 1 FREE concert ticket).
2024 Volunteer registration information coming soon.
