Emilly Perez

Hello! My name is Emilly Perez and I’m currently a senior pursuing a major in sociology, a minor in psychology, and a certificate in diversity and inclusion. I am a first-generation college student from Weiser, Idaho and I have always had a deep passion for social justice as well as for learning how to create more accessible and equitable spaces in our communities. I plan to pursue a MSW after graduation to fulfill my aspiration of becoming a social worker in Idaho. I am also involved in other clubs and organizations on campus such Kappa Delta Chi Sorority, Inc., OELA (Organización de Estudiantes Latino Americanos), the sociology honors society, Alpha Kappa Delta, and I am also a diversity scholar with the Office of Multicultural Affairs. I have had an amazing and welcoming experience in the Culture, Society & Justice Department, as well as within the entire college, and I am very excited to spend my last year at the University of Idaho as a CLASS Ambassador to share all the great opportunities, experiences, and knowledge that CLASS can provide to students!
