Application Steps and Requirements

Before applying to the American Language and Culture Program (ALCP), a student must meet these minimum requirements:

• Be at least 17 years old
• Present evidence of financial support for all expenses while studying in ALCP (complete the Certificate of Financial Responsibility and submit bank documents as outlined below)

Application Steps & Requirements

• Step 1: Application
  
  • Fill out ALCP Online Application
  • Application is due three months before the term you wish to start
• Step 2: CFR Form
  
  • Complete and sign Certificate of Financial Responsibility (CFR)
  • Financial sponsor must sign CFR
  • Submit CFR
• Step 3: Financials
  
  • Submit bank statement or financial guarantee
  • Funds must cover all tuition and living expenses expressed in CFR
• Step 4: Passport
  
  • Copy picture and information pages from Passport
  • Submit copy of passport
• Step 5:I-20
  
  • After receiving all documents, Admissions will issue the I-20
